Pain in the a... - no equalizer on Switch 5

The speaker sound is for me the weakest point of the Switch 5. An equalizer would help a lot to improve it. In principle the Realtek driver stuff contains an equalizer but it is hidden and I don't know how to access it. A while ago I was playing with generic Realtek drivers  and at some indeed the equalizer was accessible via the sound properties dialog and it worked. However After the next boot it was gone again. EqualizerAPO which is a great solution does not work on the Switch. It can be installed but does nothing! Does someone have a working solution for a system wide eq????

I am using DFX equalizer, not bad. Still would like a driver level one though.
