Screen brightness varies on battery

I just got this laptop 10 days ago.
When I disconnect the power chord and use the atop on lower brightness, the screen kind of flickers when I mouse over icons on the screen.4\
If I open a window, the brightness on the window increases gradually, step by step on it's own, as if pressed the FN+F6 key, but in tinny increments, barely noticeable, only on lowest brightness setting.
I have all the drivers installed, it's a windows 10 machine, battery is good, all good, only that strange screen behavior.
Any idea?

Hi,
Go to Power Options, Change Plan settings, Change Advanced Power settings, expand Display and Switch Off Enable adaptive brightness.
