i bought my computer a quite awhile back and recently, when i shifted house, my computer could not be on and i feel the only reason why isn't it working is because i left out a cable or something. or because its just old. The photos below are my monitor and PCU details.

I suspect is the little hole 'DC IN' because my monitor is not connected to a power socket, only my PCU is.

Please help!! THanks !
 my m

Yes, you need to connect the monitor power cable to the DC in port. This should help you power On the monitor and resolve the issue.

I found this online HP laptop power adapter.
The input voltage and watt meet the requirement.
However, this power adapter is 18.5V and 3.5A. They just differ a little from the requirement.

Do you think it will work? Also, i consulted a friend of mine and he told me the watt is the most important part so it will work fine.
    Please advise!
