Hey Guys,

I have had my laptops for a few years and overall enjoy using this laptop  A few days ago a column on my screen is black and the whole screen is flickering. In picture two use my fingers to lightly apply pressure to the front and back of the screen. When I do that the screen turns white. The White will fade away after a few minutes and the screen will be normal. Once I remove my fingers it goes back to the flickering screen. My touchscreen still works if that matters.
Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,
Go to Acer support site and download the VGA driver, then go to Device manager, expand Display adapters and uninstall the driver, without rebooting install the downloaded driver.

Basically, there might be a small damage in the monitor that might be causing the distortions in the liquid crystal causing all these issues. When you touch it, it basically distorts the liquid causing all these mayhem. Simple solution would be to go for a replacement or you can even find an option to repair it.
    BElieve in YOUrself.
