Should I get the Acer Predator Helios 300 or should i get a different laptop

Hello Im a youtuber and want a laptop with a 1060 and i found the acer predator helios 300 for 1106 dollars with a i7 7700 hq 256 ssd IT hard drive a gtx 1060 for 1106 dollars i want to stream and record games like fortnite pubg etc is it worth it or do anyone have a better one with better performance

PUBG or Fortnite would surely run for 60FPS. I would recommend to go ahead and get this. Alongside that, we need to focus on the rendering part. If you want to render some high quality videos, your Helios 300 would be a beast. Good luck mate.

Personally I'd go with a notebook with a higher TDP, as playing and streaming is very CPU & GPU intensive.  See a lot of posts on the forum regarding the Helios 300 struggling with the thermals with regular gaming (just search).  A Predator 15 or 17 might serve you better as they can deal with high loads better.

Personally I'd be look at one of the new Intel 6 Core CPU's or even the Asus ROG GL702ZC with the 8 core Ryzen 1700, although the RX580 generally loses in comparison to the GTX 1060.  Full disclosure owning a Predator 17 G3-793, rarely passes mid 80 centigrade under heavy loads, can even withstand Prime95 without throttling (CPU is undervolted).  What I would suggest if at all possible is to purchase the computer from a vendor that you can return it to.  This way if you cant tame the thermals at least you can return it.
