E5-521-23KH Slow Wifi

Hello, I have an Acer E5-521-23KH Laptop.

Windows 10 Home 64 bit
AMD E2-6110 APU with Radeon R2 Graphics 1.50 GHz
4.00 GB RAM
917 GB Hard Drive (705 GB Free)

Router is TP-Link AC1750 Wireless Dual Band DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem Router

I changed ISPs to Comcast Xfinity, and am supposed to be getting up to 100 Mbps for my internet speed, but it tends to be more like 20-30 Mbps at best. The wifi and speed are just fine on my cell phone though.

I've scanned for viruses with the Norton Security Suite that came with my internet service, no viruses found, I did a malware scan and quarantined anything it said might be harmful, I checked the disk for errors and nothing came up. I also bought an adapter for my laptop to allow it to use the 5.0 GHz bandwidth, and it was still slow.

I'm really at a loss on what it causing my internet to be so slow on my laptop; if anyone has an idea on how to fix it I'd greatly appreciate it!

You could try removing Norton Security Suite with their removal Tool, third party Security programs slow down the computers in my opinion, you will be protected by Windows Defender immediately and it will be adequate for the security, create a System Restore point with Norton Security Suite, then if you want it you can go back to that state by recovering to that point or you can reinstall Norton Security Suite with the same tool.
