hi, i just bought a Acer Swift 5 (SF514-52T) which comes with 1X USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C.  Is this port able to support USB Power Delivery and use powerbank to recharge?

I read in forums that USB 3.0 and 3.1 both support the USB Power Delivery specification, which supports a maximum of 20 volts at 5 amps for a total of 100 watts of power. Would like some confirmation before i go buy a powerbank as backup. Thanks heaps!

    Hi @simonccf

Ports at the right side of your device :
1)USB Type-C port : Connects to the provided USB Type-C power adapter and to USB devices with a USB Type-C connector. It also supports DisplayPort over USB-C.
    2)USB 3.1 Gen 1 with power-off USB charging
3)USB 3.0 port : Connects to USB devices

    Hello,

I have a SF514-51-75AH. Unfortunately, it doesn't recognize my HDMI over USB-C. Is it supposed to work?

    Thanks and best regards

@Thx4nospam you should have started a new thread for your question, since you are asking about a different model. The SF514-51 does not support charging over USB-C, as far as I can tell.
