My Aspire E 15 stuck in preparing automatic repair and can't F2 for BIOS

Hello everyone,
I hope someone can help me. I started up my Aspire E15 E5-575-33BM and got "preparing automatic repair", then "Diagnosing your PC", then Automatic Repair "Your pc did not start correctly" restarting does not resolve, I can't restore, reset, etc... Via Advanced options. When I try to boot into BIOS I get "enter system passcode" my windows passcode does not work so I assume it must be some kind of BIOS supervisor passcode. So - I'm stuck in this automatic repair loop and can't get into bios to change the boot options to use my recovery USB. Please help

Thanks to everyone for your help and suggestions. I found a youtube video that shows the steps to find the error code (three tries with wrong code, which was no problem since I didn't have a code to start with. Here is the youtube address for the video I used (

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lxwvCu8XJc).  It shows how after three wrong password attempts a screen is displayed with two options: Unlock code or shutdown, if you select the unlock code it will reveal a screen with a code, this code will be entered in the website provided by the youtube video, there are several more steps but it was easy to follow along and worked like a charm. Thanks again.

I believe you need to do a full PC reset to fix this issue.

You can restore the operating system on your Acer Windows 10 computer by pressing the Alt and F10 keys when the computer starts to boot up.

Press and hold the Power key for 5 seconds to power the system off completely.
Turn on the computer and press the Alt and F10 keys at the same time when the Acer logo appears on the screen.
You should see a message that says "Please Wait" and your computer will boot to a blue screen that says "Choose an option."
Select Troubleshoot.
Click Reset this PC.
Pick a recovery option: Keep my files or Remove everything. I recommend 'Remove everything'.
Click Next and follow the instructions on the screen.

Make sure your system is plugged in and charging while it undergoes PC reset.

If the reset does not help , please call Acer technical support over phone and they can take it in for a service for no charge if your unit is under warranty

Thanks for your suggestions but that didn't work. I get a message stating there was a problem with the restore no changes were made. I've got a recovery USB if I could get into BIOS to change the boot menu. I get "Enter system passcode" when trying to get into bios. thanks again

Hi

When entering Bios if you are getting " Enter system passcode" ,this is a BIOS password, which was set up by the user.Only after you put in the BIOS password ,it will allow you to enter BIOS.

Hi, Have you set a BIOS password?

If you have created the BIOS password, You have to remove the BIOS password, If you haven't created the BIOS password, Then you have to contact the system technician to Flash the Bios or remove the Bios password from your system.

Once the BIOS password is removed then you can reinstall the OS using the USB recovery media.
