My acer laptop is on charger cant turn on

I have acer lap top. Worked on it i guess i empty baterry. Puted it on charger .now one light is blue and one is red or orange . But i cant turn it on . What could it be ?

    Try to press and hold the power button for 4-5secs. try to do a battery reset. follow the link below.

    As long as the blue light is on, it is doing "something" that you cannot see and it will not turn off. You may have to remove the charger and wait (if won't reset by holding the power button down for15 seconds) for it to discharge - could take a few days if you cannot remove the battery.

    Hi @Aniana please try the below steps as per your unit. if the battery is removal then try removal battery steps if not try non-removal battery steps.

    Power drain (removable battery)

    Please perform power drain by following the below steps.

    1.Unplug the AC adapter from your notebook.
    2.Turn the notebook over to remove the battery.
    3.Hold down the power button for 30 seconds, then release the power button.
    4.re-connect the battery
    5.Turn over the notebook one last time and plug in your AC adapter.
    6.Turn on your notebook.

    If you are still experiencing a problem, please contact Acer support for further assistance.

    Power drain (non-removble battery)

    Please perform power drain by following the below steps.

    1.Unplug the AC adapter from your notebook.
    2.Turn the notebook and look for battery reset pin hole.
    3.insert the paper clip and hold it for 30 - 40 seconds.
    4.Turn over the notebook one last time and plug in your AC adapter.
    5.Turn on your notebook.
