A few days ago my laptop kept spamming keys. I tired to fix it by restarting but it ended up making my keyboard and touch pad stop working.I fixed my touch pad by reinstalling windows and updating drivers. Now I'm still dealing with the keyboard not working and the page up key being spammed.
Tried:
-Reinstalling Windows/Reset PC
-Change touch pad boot to basic from advance
-Reinstalling drivers/updating
-Checked for virus
Temporary fix for key spam:
-Sliding my hand across the keyboard
-Turned on "Ignore or slow down brief or repeated keystrokes and adjust keyboard repeat rates"
-Used Key remapper

Hi,
Is it E1-431? If so, go to Acer support site, download Launch manager application, install it after uninstalling the current installation in Programs.

It's AO1-431

It could be a hardware fault or the keyboard cable might have become loose, if you are within the warranty period, send it for a service to Acer, otherwise, you could try checking the cable or let someone have a look at it, you have done everything possible regarding troubleshooting.

I notice that it pops up in device manager fine but not in Synaptics. I don't know if that has anything to do with it
