Hello,
My speakers have been not working for past 2 months and I am getting utterly annoyed by it since i broke my headphones.
I got Acer Aspire V5-591G that I bought in September of 2017., so basically it's not an old laptop. I want to declare that I have tried:
- checking that if it's on mute
- checking if it's on default
- turning off enchanchments (Dolby)
- checking advanced settings
- unistalling and installing it back
- did troubleshoot, it says only a generic problem for another driver(intel) and i use RealTek High Definition Audio
- tried to switch drivers without success, it says Realtek is best option
- checked if i have any hidden devices in playback
i also want to higlight that when I plug in earphones (jack) that it is still seen as speakers in playback and it doesn't get recognized as headphones or whatsoever. Even without earphones Speakers still says its working properly and the bar moves up and down while playing audio. But no sound is coming out of course.
Sound works on earphones and over HDMI cabel, so on TV.
I really tried everything and I feel so stupid since i can't really find the issue! I really don't want to take it back to repair center where i bought it since i already had to do it in January because my battery failed and they had to replace it. I got exams coming up and I don't want my laptop to be in a different town while im dealing with IT uni
Please help,
Thank you.
