Hi!! The Predator Helios unit tend to heat normally. This can be adjusted by the inbuilt software Acer Predator Sense.

Acer PredatorSense software allows you to monitor CPU and GPU performance, as well as adjust settings like fan speed and Windows and menu keys. You can use the instructions below to adjust your Predator settings.
    1. Launch the PredatorSense software by clicking on the desktop icon, or by typing PredatorSense in the Windows search box.
    2. Choose your desired fan settings: Auto, Max, or Custom.
    3. Move the CoolBoost toggle to the desired setting.
    4. Click the Settings icon , then choose your desired key settings and temperature unit.
    5. Close the software to save your changes.

As your laptop gets hot, set the fan speed to maximum. That will cool down the processor.
