Upgrade display on a E5-575G-53DY

Hi,
I would like to now if it is possibly to upgrade the display of this laptop to a Full HD. An IPS maybe, or something better quality that the original.

Currently I have a LP156WHU-TPF1 (1366x768). Can I change it with, let's say, a B156HAN01.2, which I've seen suggested as a substitute to other displays different from mine? Are there some other compatible models?

Hi,
Yes, you can use B156HAN01.2 or a BOE NV156FHM-N42, there are other screens also compatible with your laptop, it's a matter of personal preference, try comparing the Brightness and contrast and choose the one you like.

How can I check which one is compatible?
I've seen the BOE, but it has less color gamut, less brightness, higher response time and a better contrast, so I think I will go for first or is there something else that I'm missing?

You can go to panelook site and check the screens and compare, a screen with a 30Pin eDP connector is compatible with your laptop, and the position of the connector.

So all 1 or 2 lanes eDP 30 pin are fine (if in the right position)?

Yes, eDP 1 lanes are all TN panels and eDP 2lanes are IPS panels.

Thanks, I've seen other screens, but I'm always undecided between B156HAN01.2 and NV156FHM-N43 (not the 42 you suggested, is it good? I've seen better specs, such as gamut and brightness).
What do you think is better?

EDIT: I've seen the LTN156HL06-C01 too, but I don't know if the 16.2M colors could cause trouble since these screens are all 262k.

I agree with you, N43 looks slightly better than N42 but will consume a bit more power, I have no experience with Samsung screens, so can not say anything about it.
