Touch Screen Not Working?

I not so recently brought my Aspire V5-471P to a repair place when the casing broke at the part where you open and close the laptop. When I got the laptop back, my touch screen was disabled and at the time I didn't mind. Now I'm trying to enable the touch screen but I have not been able to find the driver under Human Interface Devices in Device Manager. Nor can I find it under Hidden Devices. I checked for any updates but my laptop says it is up to date. Any help to enable my touch screen would be greatly appreciated!

This could be most likely a hardware issue. May be during repair time the cable is not connected properly. If for some reason lets say the issue is with software then i suggest you to download and install ME (Management Engine)Driver from the given link below

When I open the 'Setup' and start it, I get a mini window popping up saying that the driver failed to install?

Try power drain and bios default(Go to Bios --> Press f9  --> Yes  -->F10  --> Yes). And then check the device manager, It will show the device if it is not a hardware issue. Good Luck!
