Please bear with me, I'm in my early 60's and not a computer expert, I have a Predator G9-593, and it comes with the SSD assigned as the C drive. How do I make the 1TB hard drive the C drive, everything I download goes to the SSD drive and I keep running out of space even though I went into the settings and told it to download to the HD D drive.

hi, go to disk management and change the drive letter if possible. it might fix the problem.

Thanks, I have tried that before and it wouldn't let me for some reason, but I'm upgrading the SSD and going to do a reset this weekend so I'll try it when I do that and see if it cooperates.

Don't think you can change what the letter is for the drive holding the operating system since many programs/system functions base their functions on paths at the time of their installation.

The best bet would be to find the settings in the program your downloading with (browser etc) and find a setting to change the path where downloads are saved.
