Newly launched Acer Swift 3 with ryzen 5 processor 8gb/1tb HDD. Need to add SDD in it. Which type of SSD could be added 2.5" ssd or PcIe NVMe M.2. Could somenone link a video if it is available.

    Your safest bet for a SSD is either a 2.5" or an m.2 SATA. Some m.2 NVMe SSDs are a gamble. Jack E/NJ

    If I buy an NVMe ssd with read write speeds over 1000 Mbps will it get bottlenecked?

    @Anandml443 do you have exactly the same model? If not you should start your own thread with the question. In the case of the SF315-41-R7PR-ES the original poster is asking about he would not get full NVMe speed even if the NVMe worked. Spec calls for a M.2 SATA, though some users have been able to work with an NVMe...
