hi guys, i'm interested with the Acer Spin 5, but seem like it have some thermal issue from the most of the review online.
So i would like to know will it get hot for normal use such browsing web or watching youtube video for few hours ?
Is it suitable for engineering student to run a 3D rendering software like solidwork or do some coding on matlab ?

The CPU won't get hot from simple tasks like web browsing and watching videos. As of 3d rendering software, it depends on how much the software stresses the CPU. The CPU temperature can easily be reduced with undervolting, but it isn't guaranteed that the CPU won't throttle.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
-Model number
-Part number(not required, but helpful)
-CPU
-GPU-Operating systemHelios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
