I am a Acer nitro 5 user from Johor Bahru,Malaysia. Since last week,I keep getting ping spike issues when I am playing my games like Team Fortress 2 and rainbow 6 siege. The ping usually stays at 10+ and reached 150 ping suddenly every 15 seconds or so.I have tried to switch every applications off already but the problem is still there. The router is not a problem as well as my brother that uses the same wireless connection pinged his local ip address, mac address and google.com but yet he get a constant low latency. I've used trusted security app to try and find any viruses in my computer but it shows no result. Is there anyway i can solve this issue? Thanks in advance.

Hi! I recommend you to forget the network connection. Click the Network icon on the lower right corner of your screen > Click Network settings > Click Wi-Fi > Under Manage known networks, click the name of your network. Then click Forget. The selected  wireless network profile is deleted. Later re-connect to the network with security key. Then try playing games and there should not be ping spike. Hope it works!

    Hi,
Have you tried using different DNS address? If not give it a try, go to "Open Network & Internet settings"(right click WiFi icon in taskbar) click Change adapter options, right click WiFi and select Properties, highlight Internet Protocol V4, select properties, click "Use the following DNS addresses"
enter the new address and click OK, you can use any of the following addresses:
    Cloudflare DNS; 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
    OpenDNS: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
    Google DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
