My HD is WD10EADS-65M2B0 .. I'm new to this so ..:) 1. will it fit inside   2. will it connect  3. do I need more power?  4. how do I take old windows off the HD 5. I'm sure there is a way to select what drive does what and when.

Should be fine, the TC-780 has the SSD in an M.2 slot and there's a 3.5 drive mount ready for the SKUs that didn't come with the SSD. You may have to provide a SATA cable and if the drive you're putting in was a boot drive you may have to tweak the BIOS to force booting from the SSD...

I have an i7 7700 TC780, where is the second SATA connection on the motherboard, is the yellow slot next to the black SATA lead?
