Currently using an Acer Swift 1
As the title says, I plugged in my computer, there's the orange charging light and the icon indicates that it IS charging - but there is absolutely zero change in the battery percentage. Please help a gal out :anguished:

    Hi,
You could try a battery reset, switch off the laptop, disconnect the AC adapter, follow the instructions in the video, let the laptop to rest for a while before start using again.

If the battery still does not charge, Open device manager click “Battery” and under Battery, please click “Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery”. Now, do a right click on it, then click “Uninstall”. Confirm that you would like to uninstall the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery. After the uninstallation process, please restart your computer. As soon as you restart your computer, the Windows will automatically install the driver again. Please check your battery icon on the right bottom side of your Windows screen to see if it is charging.
Check all the screws of the bottom case are secured correctly.
Also, check the current BIOS version installed on your device.

    Hi@ryn

What is the full model number of your device?

    >>>>> To check the BIOS version.
Press Windows + R key, In the Run window or search box type msinfo32
A window titled System Information will appear on the screen.
click on System Summary if it's not already highlighted.
On the right, under the Item column, locate the entry titled BIOS Version/Date.

Enter the model number in the above weblink to check for the latest version released for your device.
