weird color/lighting issue only when moving in-game

I'm not sure if this is an issue with my graphics card, my monitor, or what. Ever since I've built this system, I've had the same issue in every single game that I load up. There are weird lighting or color issues, but ONLY when the character I'm controlling is moving.

I'm running an MSI GTX 1060 6gb, and using an Acer KG271U monitor (27", 2K, 1ms response.)

Watch the brown ghost-thing in the middle of the screen. When I'm standing still it animates properly. The issue is the red/purple coloration that happens as soon as I move.

It's not critical, but this issue is REALLY annoying.

This looks like an issue with your GPU acting up, however it is good to first start with the basics. This happens with only Games? Meaning only applications that uses DirectX? If so, try to re-install your GPU drivers, if you've done that, try doing this in various graphic hungry games such as GTA V or Witcher 3, you'll know that there will be more than one glitch. Hook up your machine to a HDMI and see if the output has something different m8.
    BElieve in YOUrself.

    Tinkerer

Turn on V-sync, either on the game, or on your Graphic card Control Panel...

Hi there, I just got this monitor today and I noticed similar issues when playing games, Here is what fixed it for me.

    Enter the Monitors menu.
Scroll down to the Gaming option.
Go into the option and turn off Over drive.

I hope this works for you!  :)
