So I wanted to reset my laptop (One Cloudbook 14) to its factory settings, it crashed half way through and is no not starting up.
when I turn it on it shows the Acer starting screen then goes a navy/black screen before going full black (the power button still on).
what do I do?

Was there any windows updates that was automatically installed on your computer?

    >>>>Try to use the Ctrl + Shift + Esc keyboard shortcut to check if the Task Manager windows pops up.
If you get the task manager window, Check the Processes tab and Services tab and look for any instances of RunOnce.exe and RunOnce32.exe.
If you find an instance in the Processes tab, select the item, and click on End task. If you find an instance in the Services tab, right-click the item, and click Stop.  Click on File. Select Run new task.
Type the following command to restart your computer:
    shutdown -t00 -r
Click OK to execute the restart command.
Restart your computer to complete the task.

    >>>>If the black screen is still displayed, hold the power button to shut down and repeat this over 3 times until you see the Recovery screen.
Click the buttons See advanced repair options > Troubleshoot >Advanced options >Windows Startup Settings >Restart. After your PC restarts, you'll see a list of options. Select 4 or F4 to start your PC in Safe Mode. Or if you'll need to use the Internet, select 5 or F5 for Safe Mode with Networking. Now perform the above steps.
