How to install Win 10 on M.2

Hello Community,

I own an Aspire V15 Nitro (VN7-571G-76RQ). I am trying to install Win10 on it.
The Laptop consist of 2 HDDS. 1 HDD (1TB) and the 2nd HDD is a 128GB M.2

Now I would like to install Win 10 on the 128GB M.2

The Problem I am facing is:

If I setup in Bios UEFI the book let me know I have no valid boot media.

If I setup in BIOS Legacy, I can’t install the Windows 10 on M.2 (M.2 not visible)

During the Installation I tried to format with the command Diskpart. But even in diskpart the M.2 is not visible.

After days of internet searching it would be great if someone could guide me, how to install Win 10 on M.2

Hi,
Did your laptop came with 1TB HDD? Are you trying to transfer the OS to M.2 SSD? If so, try using Minitool Partition wizard to migrate the OS to SSD.

in most M.2 compatible boards, the slot is shared with PCIE and the M.2 slot may be disabled. you can go to bios and look in internal hardware settings and see if you can find a place to enable it. after that, you can choose to reinstall windows 10 or clone windows 10 to HDD.
