hello,
Does anyone know if the screen for Acer Chromebook 14 CB3-431 is glued on or it can be removed? My screen is flickering. I think my connector is loose and want to make sure it connected.

I can't find another screen tear down video.

Thank you

The screen bezel can usually be removed by working your way around and gently prying it away from the back cover with your finger nail or credit card. This should expose the connector which you can re-seat a few times to clean and secure its contacts. The bezel should then be pressed back together with the cover. Jack E/NJ

Yeah I see most of the chromebooks can be pry open and it makes a click sound when it is loose. When I try that on the Acer chromebook 14 it seems like its glued on. I'm just not sure if it safe to pry it open.

Many plastic clips surround the bezel. Carefully inspect the seam for a crevice that's a bit wider/looser. Try to start prying there, working your way toward a tighter section where a clip is. You may have to put a credit card wedge where you started to keep the clip from snapping back together.  It's not unusual to break off a few clips or even crack the flimsy/thin bezel --- they're not designed to be taken apart very often. But certainly nothing scotch or color-coordinated duct tape can't handle.  :)      Jack E/NJ
