Hello,

I have an Acer Ferrari One 200 netbook. I love it. It was like crystal clean until 10 days ago. I usually take it with me during my work travel. I wanted to update it's bios, everything was looking fine until the reboot upon completion of the bios update. I'm sure that I followed all the instructions which has been written on the manuals. Arter the rebooting, I got black screen. When I power up the ferrari, all lights coming on and showing just black screen. There are no much understandable informations about ferrari for that kind of situation. I tried and really so tired to make bootable usb with crisisdisk to flash the bios. Today is the 10th. day that I'm struggling with this problem. Please friends, I really need your help. I don't want to loose my ferrari netbook. Here are what I tried,

* Used crisisdisk to create bootable usb. After that there are 3 files in usb stick. Mınıdos.sys, Phlash16.exe, Bios.wph. ( After extracted the bios update files, which I downloaded from the Acer's web site, I changed the name of the bios file with Bios.wph and put it in the usb stick. I also tried to put that file in crisisdisk folder to create bootable disk but no way.

*I tried to put ZH6X64.fd file in usb, not worked,

* I tried with another usb stick with all usb ports but nothing worked,

* I tried to change ram sticks, take out hdd, take out BIOS battery and computer's battery but no way. I'm sure that I am following the directions, which has written on the manuals step by step and slowly but it's not working.

* I tried to put only BIOS file into usb stick and boot but not worked.

* When I try it with crisisdisk and boot it with pressing and holding the Fn + Esc keys, usb stick lights up and blinking for about 2 minutes than blinking stops and computer stays like this an hour but nothings are changing.

* I tried to connect external monitor but no way, no way, no way..

Kind Regards,

Why did you try to update the BIOS? What problem did the machine have that you thought the update would fix? Jack E/NJ
