Hi guys,

Can anyone tell how much RAM does the model in the subject support? The specs on the official Acer site do not mention this info and depending on the merchant some mention a max of 8GB others 20GB.

Thanks

You have a single free RAM channel available on which you can install up to 16GB DDR4-2133/2400. The RAM that is currently installed on your system(4GB or 8GB) is integrated to the motherboard and can't be replaced.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

I don't own a device, I'm looking to buy one. The specs can be found here, but they don't tell how much RAM can be installed.

You can add another RAM stick of up to 16GB DDR4 2133MHz or 2400Mhz. The 4GB are soldered to the motherboard and cannot be replaced.
