My Nitro5 having a distorting echo from speakers when on battery. Battery life still strong at more than 70%. It was fine when plugged in. Battery life was good as well. Is this settings problem or hardware problem? I had also set power management to "Balanced".

Did you happen to experience this issue post windows update..? if not please try to re-install the audio drivers from device manager and restart your computer.

If this does not resolve the issue you may have to perform factory reset to keep a back up of your files before performing reset. Even after reset if you happen to face trouble then we can call it as hardware issue and you have to contact acer technical support for help

Try a high performance plan, not balanced. Jack E/NJ
