I have bought a used a monitor online. I guess during transport the screen got scratched. 4 scratches I have found. most of them are not visible during gaming or work. but one is. this looks like the scratch went thru the top layer because now only white light comes from it. Can this be fixed?

This kind of damage can't be fixed probably, unless the polarizing filter is damaged only(most likely that is the case). By replacing the polarizing filter if it is possible, which is the top layer of the LCD screen, the white line should be gone.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
