WHY DOES A SIMPLE QUESTION COST MONEY ON ACER?

I called ACER this morning to simply TRY to see if an expert could tell me HOW to stop the flickering and jumping on my PC Screen. I got a male foreigner (which is ok) who immediately told me the PRICES to obtain his help. That's when it stopped, for me. I do not agree with ACER that every little question HAS to cost. 'Not good at all. I'm disappointed.

    If the machine was still under warranty, ACER service should've answered the question. If not, this user community could've tried to answer it. Since the screen corrected itself, I would guess the video card would simply need to be re-seated a few times to clean its contacts. A common issue if the weather is a bit warm and humid. Jack E/NJ
