How can I get out of this boot loop?

Hi, I have an Acer Chromebook 14 CB3-431
It worked fine for about a week, then it tried to install a chrome OS update. Since the update it is stuck in a boot loop. It starts, the screen stays black for about 10 seconds, then the screen flashes with a lighter shade of dark and then it’s off. It restarts automatically and does it over and over again. The only thing I can do is press the power button for a few seconds to turn it off.

I cannot get it to the point where I can login with any account. It does not enter recovery mode. It does not boot from the recovery usb stick. It does not help to turn off wifi. There are no other devices connected. It is fully charged. I tried to hold down esc+refresh while tapping the power button, I tried to hold ctrl+refresh while tapping the power button. I tried to hold down all three buttons...nothing worked. There is no way to remove the battery and no hard reset button.

I am all out of ideas...please help me! Thanks for your efforts!

If you purchased it a week or so ago, you should return it to the vendor for a replacement or refund. Acer warranty service will take a lot longer. Jack E/NJ
