Been stuck on this screen a million years, 4 year old Acer iconia one 7
Mfg date: 2014.09
I know this isn't supposed to happen, I need a fix!

    Could be a fluke, try a full power cycle with a long press of the power button. If it still hangs it's more likely to be a corruption in the OS load. Check to see what your model number actually is and see if there's an OS image on Acer's support site. Follow the directions and reflash the OS from an SD card. If that doesn't work it might be a failed disk and there's not a lot to be done. :(

    It's always been there, just changed to the Acer logo shortly after the Intel one during boot.

    nope, not at all. Not on a 4 year old iconia one 7. I never got a system updated that did that, and I'm pretty sure it won't.
