You have a single SATA 3 port for SATA HDD/SSD, which is already occupied by the 1TB HDD that comes with the laptop. You have another storage slot, which is an M.2 PCIe/NVMe and for this port you need M.2 SSDs like this. There are 2 types of M.2 SSDs, ones are with SATA interface(support up to SATA 3 read and write speeds) and others are PCIe/NVMe that are much faster. Both M.2 sata and M.2 NVMe will work on this port. The laptop might have a second M.2 sata port, but it is optional so it might or might not have it. The second port would also support SATA and NVMe SSDs, but NVMe SSDs will work on SATA 3 speeds.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

I am thinking of buying the same model. Have you got any idea on how to obtain the 2-year manufacturer warranty?  @Adi022
