Something Wrong With Graphics Card? Game Keeps Freezing, No Current Updates

I play Runescape. Once you download the client, there's a "cache" that needs to load to 100% (takes awhile the first time supposedly) before logging in, or the game will be sluggish. It loads to 10% then it disappears. The disc cache is supposed to be 4.2gb or something around there, and mine stays at 5.9gb. The main issue is I set the game on minimum graphics settings and it STILL freezes randomly and I have to end up closing the client and restarting. I just bought my Acer Aspire 5 not long ago. I was told to try intel's website for their own graphics driver, but it won't let me cause Acer installed their own custom one? Anyways, I tried the driver download section on Acer's website and nothing has been updated but 1 VGR driver. I tried updating that, restarted the computer and it didn't do a thing. How do I fix this?

Open Control Panel. Search "power plan". Click on choose a power plan. Set it for high performance to see what happens. Jack E/NJ
