I've been having WiFi issues on my Swift 3 running Windows 10. I've tried the following and the WiFi at least works while the laptop is plugged in to the wall
  • Updated the BIOS to the latest version (1.10)
  • Updated the WiFi device driver (now running version 12.0.0.278)
  • Changed the power settings on battery to "Best performance"
  • Unchecked "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in Device Manager for the Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A Wireless Network Adapter
Once I unplug the laptop, the WiFi stops working (the computer doesn't report a change, but websites won't load). I'll plug the laptop in again and the website will load right up.

Is there some other power option I need to change? Should I uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" for all of the other Network adapters?

Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried to reset the battery yet? If not, shut down the computer, remove the charger and insert a paperclip in the pinhole on the bottom for about 10 sec. Jack E/NJ

    Hi,

You can do power drain by removing the battery from the device and unplug the charger. Hold the power button for 10 seconds continuously. Then put the battery and the charger back on to the device. And leave the charger for 3 to 4 hours. Then try. This will fix the issue.

Can go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network Connections and check each adapter status. (right click on the adapter icon can give status and diagnose for problems)

I also have issues with my Swift 3 Ryzen 7 running Windows 10. Sometimes it can connect to the wifi but sometimes the connection is failed. Even the signal was lost while other computers are still still connecting the same wifi router.
Since swift 3 has no LAN jack, I connect to the network through an HP 3005pr 3.0 Port Replicator successfully. But after an hour connection was lost again.

Is it a hardware or software issue?
Any solution to solve the problem?

    any help is appreciated.
