Assured by sales staff that this PC could handle the graphics requirements of Microsoft Flight Sim 2004.However the graphics cannot cope with situations where there are heavy demands placed on the software. Game settings, Radeon settings (PCsoftware), and HP24" monitor are all reduced/minimised.
Is it possible to add additional hardware to boost the graphics performance of this PC?
Thankyou

Sure, you can replace the existing graphics with a card that has higher specs. I'm going to assume you mean flight simulator 2014? 2004 wouldn't necessarily work well with modern systems. The R4 (IIRC) used shared motherboard memory and wasn't really up to speed at resolutions higher than 800x600. You have a x16 slot so should be able to handle most current cards, though you may need to look at your power budget and swap the supply for a more powerful option if the card requires it.
