Hello, I have a question : Why does my laptop starts to DISCHARGE it's battery even though it's plugged in...Also I think this only happens when playing games not when surfing web or something. Could anyone let me know if this is normal or if there is a problem ? Thanks in Advance !

    Hi,
Go to Device manager, expand Batteries, highlight and right click "Microsoft ACPI-compliant control method Battery", click Properties, uninstall the driver in Driver tab, reboot the laptop and let Windows install the driver. HTH.

I have just contacted Acer Support and they said : When playing the computer is using the highest performance which means that is using much more energy than the one that is receiving at the same time, that means that the computer will discharge but slower than if you where playing with no charger plugged. And that is not feature that you can disable. Than I sent the link of this chat to them they said : That is just to update the battery drivers, you can try it, but I cannot tell that will resolve this since, as explained, is normal for the computer to discharge when gaming.
SO, I guess it was normal after all ? heh

Wait what? How can laptop drain battery even if it's on plug? Did driver update helped you?
