My convertible laptop (Aspire R14) had this problem where it suddenly stopped switching to and from tablet mode after converting it. After some searching (and finding nothing that exactly applied to my laptop, but several solutions for other types) I have decided to reinstall Acer Quick Access. So I uninstalled the program and downloaded new version from the official website.
My problem was solved, but the new version appears to have come without the little app called "Acer Quick Access Convert functions" that allowed me to set a different wallpaper for each mode. It is about 10MB smaller than the old version was when I view it at "programs and components" in control panel, so I guess it truly lack some components compared to it.
Is there a way to get this little customization back?

It may not be worth the effort for this little customization, but you can try re-setting the machine to a factory-fresh state while saving your personal files. Jack E/NJ
