On 2/6/18 I bought an Acer aspire E15-E5-576G, with Intel Core I5-8th Gen. & SSD. When you press the power button. there's a very brief (not loud) "buzz" noise. It's a fraction of a  second.  It comes from the power button.  It is not a beep.  The computer boots right up, very fast. Should I be concerned or is this common noise with Acer's ?. I want the power button to last forever. (I tell myself maybe this is static electricity discharge ??) Thanks much for your help.

    Hi,
You may try a power drain to fix this issue.
    1. Unplug AC power adapter.
    2. Locate the battery reset pinhole on the bottom of the computer.
    3. Insert a small paperclip in the battery reset pinhole. Hold the reset button for 4 seconds.
    4. Let the computer sit for 5 minutes with no power.
    5. Connect the AC adapter and power on the system

I am sorry but I don't think Power Drain would help here.

@C@Coastrunner -  You shouldn't but this buzz is probably because the PSU (Power supply unit) turns on and it is common in most computers back in the day. Probably ignore it until it becomes an annoyance tbh.
    BElieve in YOUrself.
