I have tried to install the latest drivers ( found on the Acer website ) but i can't connect to the internet, the is only a bluetooth adapter to see.
there is a exclamation sign (yellow) at the device manager with the Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless network adapter, and also on the ethernet / PCI / SM and USB controllers

What to do? once i have internet i guess the laptop self can find driver updates for the other issues but till than, ill need internet.

Thanks a lot!

    (1) Where did you get the Win7 drivers?
    (2) Uninstall drivers with yellow or red warnings from Device Mgr. Do a cold re-boot and let Win7 automatically re-detect and re-install the drivers.
    (3) If still no joy, try to re-install the Win10 drivers in Win7 compatibility mode.

I uninstalled the drivers Did a cold reboot but after restarting i get the message that there wasn’t found any driver and that it couldn’t be installed, logical if it can’t connect to the internet, that’s the whole
problem. You think it helps to install the win10 drivers again in compatibility mode?

Where did you get the Win7 driver that didn't work before? A generic Win7 version probably won't work. But a Win7 driver from a similarly equipped ACER laptop that originally came from the factory with an earlier Windows version might.

However, if the Win10 driver you have now is an EXE file, right click on it. Click properties. Then click on the compatibility tab to run it under an earlier Windows compatibility mode --- probably WinVista or WinXP if you're now running Win7. Jack E/NJ
