Hello, I am having an issue with my Acer Aspire 7 laptop. Shortly after booting it on battery power, it shuts down on its own without blue screens or anything, like a power unplug. The issue occured a week ago and I haven't done any major windows updates or anything like that shortly before that. Any help would be appreciated :)

update: shutdowns occur at any time and not only after boot, regardless of battery level. Im certain heat is not the issue. I did reset on the internal battery just now via the pin on the back panel, will see how it goes.

    Hi,
Good to see that you did a battery reset. However if the issue still persists, you may need to do a battery calibration to check if battery is good.First fully charge the computer and remove the charger ones it shows 100%.
    1. Power on the laptop and hit F2 at the boot screen to enter BIOS. Choose the Power menu using the cursor keys.
    2. Choose Start Battery Calibration and then press "Enter".
    3. The screen should turn blue. ...
    4. The laptop will continue discharging until it automatically shuts down.
    5. Now connect the charger and charge computer again till 100% and follo
