Hi Everyone!! =)
Hopefully I can get some assistance. I have an All-In-One Aspire Z3-615 and just recently my touchscreen has stopped working. No new software or hardware has been installed. When I go into my Device Manager and under Human Interface Devices no touch screen info is available:

Also other devices has a bunch of unknown devices listed. When I uninstall and reboot, those devices come back. :(

When I go into settings and check touch and pen info, this is what I am seeing:

I have restarted several times, updates are up to date, so I am stuck as to what more can I do. Anyone has any suggestions on a resolution?

Kindly,
Keki

This could have happened due to some windows updates that were automatically installed on your computer.
Right click and uninstall all the devices with yellow exclamation mark in device manager and restart your computer to check if all the device drivers are restored automatically.

    Hi @Sharanji

I've done that twice and the unknown devices keep popping up. Do you have any other suggestions I can try?
Thanks so much for your help!

So there was a windows update issue that was causing the problem with the touchscreen.
I clicked on the update, went to Microsoft and went through the KB for a workaround because there's a known issue.
I followed the wrong around for:
After installing this update, some USB devices and onboard devices, such as a built-in laptop camera, keyboard or mouse, may stop working.  This may occur when the windows update servicing stack incorrectly skips installing the newer version of some critical drivers in the cumulative update and uninstalls the currently active drivers during maintenance.
Once I did the steps, restarted the touchscreen functionality was there! Very happy now! Hope this helps someone having the same issue.
