Hi there,
I have got a veriton VN4640G-i7670X, which has a sata connection in the base of the box. It is covered with a removable cover. I assume it is for the cdrom extension. Can it be used to connect an external SATA hard drive?, does it need any BIOS configuration to be recognised by the system?

    Hi,

Find the image attached. It is the base of the 1L case. it was cover with a pre cut metallic plate, It is a sata 3 male connector, but i cannot access a disk attached to it. In order to connect the disk, I am using a female to female sata 3 adaptor.

    Hi,

As I know this SATA connector is for external DVD Drive, but I suppose that you need to use original housing.

BTW Did you bought housing for video card separately or it was with Veriton?
