I wanted to restore my Helios 300 to its factory defaults. The Recovery Management keeps the Please wait dialog box infinitely open when I begin to create a factory default backup. Also when I click Update tab in Acer Care, the app goes non responsive and I have to close it using the Task Manager. I need a solution as I'm in a dire need to restore the factory defaults as I suspect some malfunctioning is happening.

Luiz_Campos what is the error youre getting are you using a good 16gb usb drive i cant create it either on mine i get an error when its almost finishing also if you upgraded your windows stock home to any other version like me to pro for ex it will not work anymore no way to create any stock recovery usb drive as when it tries to create it will give an error and that error according to the care center debug logs i have on mine is due to not be able to check/match the os version with the stock but if you live in US/CA you can buy a usb recovery drive from acer but out of US/CA you cant acer sill not ship internationally to any country in this case the best you can do if your system its working fine now get a spare usb drive and clone it via easeus partition master or similar to have a full working drive in case something happens

That recovery drive created successfully for me when the PC was new but it couldn't restore. So I think it just doesn't work even if you create it properly.
