Hello,
Sorry for my english, this is not my native language, so i'll try to use the best words to explain my issue!
I have a problem about my brand new monitor Acer Predator Z271T.
It is permanently flickering (like brightness quickly blinking and twitching) with G-Sync enabled, whatever the refresh rate used (60 to 144 Hz).
This problem actually appears on PUBG, but I don't have tried on other games.
My FPS are constently between 70 and 140. I've tried multiple setup:
- Monitor refresh rate @ 60Hz G-Sync + V-Sync (no drop under 60 FPS)
- Monitor refresh rate @ 60Hz G-Sync only (FPS varying from 70 to 140 FPS)
- Monitor refresh rate @ 85Hz G-Sync + V-Sync (90% @ 85 FPS, sometimes drop to 70 FPS)
- Monitor refresh rate @ 85Hz G-Sync only (FPS varying from 70 to 140 FPS)
- Monitor refresh rate @ 100Hz G-Sync + V-Sync (60% @ 100 FPS, sometimes drop to 70 FPS)
- Monitor refresh rate @ 100Hz G-Sync only (FPS varying from 70 to 140 FPS)
- Monitor refresh rate @ 120Hz G-Sync + V-Sync (40% @ 120 FPS, sometimes drop to 70 FPS)
- Monitor refresh rate @ 120Hz G-Sync only (FPS varying from 70 to 140 FPS)
- Monitor refresh rate @ 144Hz G-Sync + V-Sync (10% @ 144 FPS, sometimes drop to 70 FPS)
- Monitor refresh rate @ 144Hz G-Sync only (FPS varying from 70 to 140 FPS)
I also tried all these setups with SLI enabled, SLI disabled (with second GPU PhysX dedicated), SLI disabled (with second GPU idled).
Issue persisting !Disabling G-Sync brings tearing in the frames (as expected). And is not an option because no one does want tearing and no one does want G-Sync disabled when it has cost 20% of the price...
Here's my specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K
GPU1: Asus Strix GTX 980Ti DC3OC
GPU2: Asus Strix GTX 980Ti DC3OC
Motherboard: Asus Pro Gaming Z170
RAM: 2x8Go DDR4 2400MHz Corsair Vengeance

I've seen multiple threads about this problem in the forum :
