My Acer monitor has 5 control buttons and a power button. None of the control buttons are labeled and I cannot find any info in the manuals. While changing the settings I inadvertently changed the input mode. (Not sure what to but not HDMI or VGA as I have tested these). Now the monitor displays the message 'Cable not connected' and the control buttons seem to be disabled. So it looks as though a reset is required. How do I do this.

I have found an on-line manual and in conjunction with RanY2J's comments have managed a reset.

    Try this:

    Step
Click the "Menu" button, located at the bottom of your Acer monitor.

    Step
Press the right arrow button, until the "Reset" feature is highlighted on your display screen. This feature is marked with a large "R" with an arrow pointing off to the right. When highlighted, "Reset" is displayed in the sub-menu.

    Step
Press the "Menu" button twice to reset your Acer monitor.
    BElieve in YOUrself.

Thank you for your reply RanY2J. Problem is I have 5 unmarked buttons, which is the menu button. None of the buttons bring up a menu when pressed, they all seem to be disabled.
