Acer CB241HYK resets Brightness after Reboot/Restart/Wake-Up from Standby

Hey there,

whenever I turn my new monitor on and off, it resets the brightness to 80% (propably the stock value?), all the other settings remain untouched though. I would like it to be fixed at 40% because that is enough for my specific situation. How do I do that?

I already installed the Acer eDisplay Management and could use this to set the monitor to 40% upon every full restart of my computer. This doesn't apply for Wake-Ups after Standby though.
Also, I installed the Acer-specific driver and installed it on my system (Windows 10 64-Bit) but that didn't change anything either.

I really hope that anyone can help me because I would love to keep this monitor. Without being able to adjust settings permanently, it is useless for me though.

    1) Please perform the below mentioned steos and chekc if you are able to rid of the problem
Right-click "Task Scheduler" and Run as administrator.
In the left pane in Task Scheduler, navigate to Microsoft > Windows > Display > Brightness.
In the right pane, Double-click BrightnessReset to open Properties for the task.
    Click the Triggers tab.
Select the “At log on” trigger and click the “Edit…” button to open the edit page.
The Enabled radio button at the bottom of the page should be unchecked.  Click on the radio button to clear it.
Click OK on the Edit trigger page and then click OK on the Properties page.

    2) If your windows version doesn't have the /Display/Brightness folder
Go to "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings" then click on "Change advanced power settings". Then expand the "Display" option. From there two things:
Under "Dimmed display brightness", set both values to 100%. This will cause the dimmed values to be 100% of the value you have on normal screen lightning.
Under "Enable adaptive brightness" set both values to "Off".
Your screen will no longer be dimmed but the brightness value never changes, unless you input it via hardware keys/power options.

    3) Please try disabling Generic PnP monitor, in device manager under monitor , restart to device and check if the issue is fixed.
