    Hi @ akhilnath

Please go to BIOS setting, check whether the Touchpad is in Advanced mode, if it shows Basic mode, switch to Advanced mode. Then go to Device manager, right click HID I2C device, click update the driver and see whether it fixes the error code problem. if the touchpad stops working press and hold the  Fn key and tap the F7 to get it to work.

Well you can still download the driver from Touchpad developer's website, alternatively if you can go to Device Manager and tell me the Touchpad driver that you're missing or a screenshot of the missing driver, I can do some searching or even provide me the hardware ID so I can get the driver for you m8.
    BElieve in YOUrself.

It is probably inside one of the Intel driver sets, either Chipset or Serial IO. Is there a touchpad setting inside the BIOS ?

BTW if not working at all, try fn-F7 (touchpad toggle).

Hi all, I had the same issue after reinstall w10 earlier today. The driver is within the intel 'serial I/o drivers' on acer's download section. I had to run as admin to avoid pop up error about language, i2c driver installed ok now fully functional with advanced settings selected in the bios.Hope this helps.

    Thank you so much.
I installed "Serial IO Driver" from https://www.acer.com/ac/en/IL/content/support-product/5612?b=1&pn=NX.MRQEK.013 to my Aspire V11 Touch and my touchpad came to life.
    Very good instruction !!!
