This started some time last night seemingly at random, two of my USB ports simultaneously stopped functioning. That is to say, they still put out power but they do not accept data transfer. I've tried reinstalling the drivers through Device Manager to no avail, anyone have any ideas as to what I could do?

Open control panel. Search "restore point". Check for an automatic Win10 "restore point" that was created immediately before Feb 18th. Jack E/NJ

Restoring to an earlier point when the USB ports were functional, as you suggested.

To and from the same USB stick or USB drive adapter? Or have you tried other known-good sticks or adapters? Jack E/NJ
