Can you please help !!!!   I have an Aspire One D270 laptop.  I can't connect it to my TV via a HDMI cable, in fact it doesn't even acknowledge any connection whatsoever !  It's not the cable or tv because it works perfectly from another laptop.  Many thanks in advance.

Are you using the same factory shipped windows operating system?
Press and hold down the Fn key and tap the F5 key to switch display output between the display screen, external monitor or TV (if connected) and both.

This is a device driver issue after you have reformatted the computer.
Open device manager, Right-click the device with yellow exclamation mark  in the list. Select Uninstall from the menu that appears. After the device is uninstalled, choose Action on the menu bar. Select Scan for hardware changes to reinstall the driver.

If you get the same error, the below mentioned weblink has the device drivers and application for your computer.

Download and install the Chipset, VGA driver. Also download and install the "launch manager" application listed in Applications.
