Dear Swift 3 owners, especially those with the SF315-41,
if you shut down your device, is your USB port(s) still powered?
In my SF 315-41 at least the USB2 port still has power after shutdown. Haven´t checked the USB3 yet.

By the way, you don´t get email notifications if someone replies here...?

    Hi @ Lunxi

This model has USB 3.0 featuring power-off USB Charger port. This USB port has a battery symbol and is located at the left side of the device next to USB Type-C port.

The "USB Type-C port" connects to USB devices that adopt the USB Type-C connector. Supports USB 3.1 Type-C, Gen 1 with transfer speeds up to 5 Gb/s.

    Hi,

It seems like after a certain Windows update, the power on the USB-C port still remains on when I leave my multifunction hub connected when the notebook is in shutdown. This does not happen with my other Dell notebook with the same hub. Can the power to the USB-C be completely turned off during shutdown like the USB charging port? There is no settings in BIOS nor in Acer Quick Access app to set this behaviour for the USB-C port. Now I have to pull out my hub when I shutdown otherwise the battery will drain.

    Any fix for this?

    Thanks.

It depends on which model you have, there are a lot of Swift 3s and different models have different features.
